Hello, my name is Charlotte, I am a fully qualified Humanistic/Person Centred Counsellor working therapeutically with Adults, Children, and Young People.
I appreciate that reaching out for help is a huge step, and finding a counsellor can be hard. An equal and trusting relationship is proven to create positive therapeutic outcomes providing my clients with a friendly, warm, and down-to-earth approach.
About me and my practice
I provide a confidential safe space to help you work through your thoughts and feelings. I will offer you an accepting, non-judgmental space where I will strive to understand your world, make sense of whatever is happening in your life and help to empower you to make positive and lasting changes. I offer both short-term and open-ended counselling, working at your pace.

Experience
I counsel children aged 9 years +, working creatively through play to help them express their concerns. Providing space and support for children can help to remove barriers to their achievements at school, help to build relationships provide self-awareness, and have a better understanding of their emotions and behaviours.
My key experience is embedded in and not limited to, supporting those who have experienced, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, loss, grief, stress, low self-esteem, self-harm, suicide ideation and other psychological difficulties.

Initial Consultation
If suitable, the initial 15-minute phone assessment is free, with a paid face-to-face assessment session.
Fees
When working with children/young persons consent will be gained from both the parent/carer and the child for sessions to commence. I offer at least six sessions per client to establish a meaningful relationship with the child.
Fees: Each session is £55, and sessions last 50 minutes.
Alternatively, a course of six sessions is £320, payable after the initial consultation but before the first six sessions.
